Calcinet® – Professional Descaler for Dishwashers, Boilers and Heat Exchangers

Limescale is a problem for equipment such as dishwashers, boilers and heat exchangers. The deposits that form on parts in contact with water have a high insulating capacity and are a favorable environment for the proliferation of bacteria. Calcinet Professional Descaler removes limescale deposits, maintains the efficiency of mechanical parts and restores the shine of the interior of the equipment.

When water is heated, calcium and magnesium precipitate, generating limescale formations that create an insulating layer, resulting in greater energy consumption to bring the water to the correct temperature. Cleaning tips:

Limescale deposits in water appear as very hard incrustations. In the heat exchangers of capsule and pad machines and in boilers, they are deposited on the walls and heating elements, creating an insulating layer that prolongs water heating times, with the risk of dispensing under-extracted drinks. In glass washers, they are deposited inside the tank (where they form an unsightly and porous patina that collects food residues and allows bacteria to proliferate) and on the heat exchangers, causing prolonged water heating times and inadequate washing quality.

Instructions for use:

Descaling of glass washing machines:

• Pour 1/2 kg of Calcinet® powder into every 5 litres of hot water.
• Run 1 or 2 wash cycles (without detergent).
• Empty the glass washing machine and rinse the basin.
• Run 1 or 2 wash cycles with hot water and drain.

Descaling of boilers and heat exchangers:

• Pour 1 kg of Calcinet® powder into 10 liters of water.
• Leave to act for 1 hour.
• Drain the solution.
• Rinse with plenty of running water.
