Caffe Costadoro Extra
Caffe Costadoro Extra stands out for its intense aroma and balanced taste, thanks to the composition of 90% quality Arabica from Brazil, Honduras, Guatemala and 10% quality Indian Robusta.
The blend contained in Costadoro Extra was awarded a gold medal at the International Coffee Tasting in the 2022 edition, organized by the International Institute of Coffee Tasters (liac).
Costadoro Extra is the best-selling traditional blend in the Costadoro range from the former Olympic city of Turin. As this blend of 90% Arabica and 10% Robusta coffee beans was the only variety for many years, it was simply called Caffè Costadoro, after the name of the house, and since May 2012 it has been renamed Caffe Costadoro Arabica. Caffe Costadoro continues to roast this variety according to the highest quality principles and criteria and makes no concessions or compromises when purchasing green coffee. Costadoro uses a blend of the best varieties of coffee beans grown in Central and South America for Caffe Arabica.
To combine the optimal properties of each bean variety into a perfect coffee, each one is roasted separately and in small batches at a uniform temperature, slowly and with an optimal degree of roasting in the rotating drum. Each type contributes to the optimization, for example, a variety for fullness, aromas, perfect acidity, fruit notes, body, volume or spice and lingering length.

THE SENSORY ANALYSIS
The typical Italian espresso, full-bodied, syrupy, with a rich crema. On the palate, the notes of powdered bitter cocoa, toasted almonds, toasted bread and caramel.
