pulyCAFF® Plus is a powerful detergent designed for cleaning coffee groups, discharge valves and portafilters. It effectively removes coffee residues and fat deposits, while preventing the formation of unpleasant odors inside the coffee group, the discharge valve and in all water passages of the espresso machine, including filters and portafilters.

The detergent is certified by NSF International – National Sanitation Foundation, the American organization for public health. It is formulated with raw materials recognized by the USFA – U.S. Food and Drug Administration, thus guaranteeing respect for the operator, the environment and the equipment. Daily use of pulyCAFF® Plus ensures efficient and long-lasting operation of the espresso machine, eliminating the need for maintenance interventions caused by lack of cleanliness, which accounts for 70% of breakdowns.

It is also suitable for cleaning cups and teapots.

Cleaning Tips:
Coffee beans contain oils and fats that are carried to their surface during roasting. These are the main components of the espresso crema, but they quickly oxidize and become rancid, depositing on the inner walls of the distribution group (sieve, filter and portafilter), where, due to the high temperature, they tend to carbonize. These residues give the drink an unpleasant and persistent bitter taste, aggravated by the rancidity caused by the oxidation of the oil, which occurs within 12-18 hours. Used daily, pulyCAFF® Plus ensures the complete elimination of coffee residues and prevents unpleasant odors.

Instructions for use:
Coffee group – daily cleaning:
Pour 3-5 g of pulyCAFF® Plus into the blind filter.
Start the brew cycle for 10 seconds and stop for 10 seconds, repeat 5 times.
Remove the portafilter and rinse with boiling water from the coffee group.
Insert the clean portafilter, start the brewing cycle for 10 seconds and stop for 10 seconds, repeat 5 times.

Soaking filters and filter holders – daily procedure:
Pour 1 liter of hot water into the wash basin.
Soak the filters and filter holders and pour 10 g of pulyCAFF® Plus.
Let the equipment soak for 15 minutes.
Rinse with hot water.
